We are each here, on earth, for a reason. The pursuit of happiness can only be realized in discovering, developing, and fulfilling your individual purpose. Discovering our purpose comes easily for some and more difficult for others. Having the freedom to explore and pursue that purpose is critical in finding happiness and fulfillment. Over the years many have fallen into the destructive mind set that the pursuit of happiness is focused on money or a destination of sorts that does not value the process of which you find an end. 

Living the American Idea embraces the individual purpose, its value to the individual and society, and the legacy your purpose leaves behind.
